Norcass present at the XXXVII International Seminar Blueberries Consulting – Trujillo 2025

On July 9 and 10, 2025, Norcass participated in the XXXVII International Blueberries Consulting Seminar – Trujillo, one of the most important events for the blueberry sector in Latin America. The event brought together producers, exporters, researchers, and agricultural technology providers to analyze the trends and challenges of a constantly evolving industry.

The event took place at the Costa del Sol Wyndham Trujillo Golf Hotel, where Norcass welcomed visitors and customers at Stand No. 10, presenting its latest innovations in pots and germination trays, solutions designed to optimize germination and seedling development, improve efficiency in nurseries and contribute to more sustainable and profitable production.

A future-oriented technical program for blueberries

The seminar featured a high-level academic agenda, with presentations by national and international specialists addressing strategic aspects for the sector’s competitiveness. Key topics included:

Pollination as a Factor in Quality and Profitability
It was emphasized that proper pollination not only increases the quantity of fruit but also improves its size, weight, and commercial value. Experts stressed the importance of comprehensive technical management during flowering, going beyond simply placing beehives, and incorporating monitoring and precise measurements.

Challenges in the availability of beehives and bee health
The rapid growth of cultivated land has generated a greater demand for beehives, which, added to diseases, habitat loss and inadequate agricultural practices, causes a significant mortality of bees in the country.

Genetics and new varieties
The need to develop and use varieties adapted to the conditions of each region, which meet the demands of international markets and improve the profitability of producers, was addressed.

Technology and sustainability
The incorporation of innovations in the field, the mechanization of processes and the use of precision technologies were presented as key tools to optimize resources and reduce environmental impact.

A space for networking and knowledge transfer

In addition to the conferences, the event served as a meeting point for the exchange of experiences among producers, researchers, and companies that provide solutions for agriculture. Norcass had the opportunity to engage in dialogue with industry leaders, learn firsthand about current market demands, and reaffirm its commitment to knowledge transfer and applied innovation.
